About this role
Community Safety Wardens (CSWs) are a highly visible, uniformed presence in our communities, working on behalf of the Council and alongside other partner agencies to help keep residents safe.
The role focuses on preventing and addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB) and environmental crime across the borough through proactive, intelligence-led patrols, engagement with local communities, and the effective use of enforcement powers where appropriate. CSWs play a key role in tackling issues early, providing reassurance to residents, and helping to reduce harm.
In addition to patrol duties, CSWs investigate reports of ASB and environmental offences, gathering evidence from a range of sources, and work with colleagues and partner agencies to identify and deliver solutions.
This is a varied and rewarding role for individuals who are passionate about community safety, confident in dealing with challenging situations, and committed to making a positive difference to the lives of local people.
