Brightwork has a great opportunity for

Production Operatives to join a busy Fish Processing Factory in

Oban or in Lerwick, Shetland Islands, offering a 6-month contract, consistent hours, and the chance to experience island life while earning.

Pay rate

£13.45 per hour (guaranteed 40 hours per week)

Overtime

Paid after 40 hours is £20.18 per hour

Lerwick is the main town in Shetland, offering a welcoming community with shops, supermarkets, pubs, a cinema and more, making it an ideal location for a short-term working adventure.

As a General Operative, your duties include

• Operating processing machinery safely and efficiently
• Cleaning and preparing fish to the required standards
• Grading products to meet customer specifications
• Packing finished goods accurately
• Maintaining high product quality standards
• Following strict hygiene, food safety and health & safety procedures
