Location

Role is onsite office based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Who you’ll be working with

You will join a highly skilled technical team and work on challenging projects using modern cloud, AI, and enterprise technologies. We are expanding throughout 2025 and 2026, focusing on scalable digital platforms, AI-driven solutions, cloud infrastructure, system integrations, automation, and modern web technologies. This role offers the opportunity to shape technical direction and influence key architectural decisions across multiple projects.

Focus of your role

We are looking for a technology-oriented Technical Architect to work closely with clients and internal teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions. You will play a key role in defining system architecture, guiding technical strategy, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple projects and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software architecture, cloud technologies, integrations, and modern development practices, along with a solid understanding of AI-driven solutions and emerging technologies. Experience or knowledge in AI/ML applications, data pipelines, automation, large language models (LLMs), and AI integration strategies will be highly beneficial. You should be comfortable collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams to translate complex requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Define technical architecture, frameworks, and best practices across projects.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Design cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
• Support AI-driven initiatives, including AI integrations, automation, and intelligent applications.
• Provide architectural guidance for AI/ML systems, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend modern technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability of systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Conduct technical reviews, code reviews, and architecture governance activities.
• Support integration of third-party platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Assist in solution estimation, technical planning, and risk assessment.
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical skill development within the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in software architecture and system design.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of AI/ML technologies, LLMs, automation platforms, or intelligent applications.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET.
• Experience with databases, data modelling, and scalable data architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with security best practices and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Professional certifications in cloud platforms, architecture, or Agile methodologies are advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks, data engineering, or machine learning workflows is a plus.
• Experience in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or digital transformation projects.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, governance, and compliance standards.

• Salary range will be £65000 - £75000 per annum, depending on experience.
