Anaesthetic & Recovery Nurse/ ODP

The post-holder will provide high-quality anaesthetic and perioperative care, including preparing the theatre environments, assisting with anaesthesia induction, monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures, and supporting recovery in the post-operative period. They will collaborate closely with the theatre team to maintain smooth theatre flow and respond effectively to emergencies. The role also involves maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to infection control and health and safety standards, and participating in departmental audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development. Flexibility, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient-centred care are essential to succeed in this role.
