Faculty Coordinator

About this role

Activate Learning are recruiting a Faculty Coordinator to join our Lifeskills provision to support with the development of our brand new Vocational and Lifeskills Hub for Post-16 learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities in Wokingham.Working closely with the Leadership team, your focus will be on supporting the team’s objectives through providing effective administrative support for key events in the academic planning cycle, including:Arranging meetings, agenda management and issuing reminders for important tasks to support team effectivenessLeading on the initial assessment of students and onboarding of studentsCoordinating activities, faculty open days and award ceremoniesSupporting course scheduling, preparation and upkeep of registersOrganising and managing student files, recording student progressAs the Faculty Coordinator, you will be student-facing, supporting all student and teacher enquires and taking a proactive approach to improving processes and procedures to help enhance our students' experience.This is a part time (28 hours, over 4 days) fixed term contract until August 2027 with the potential to be extended or made permanent.What do you need to be a successful Faculty Coordinator at Activate Learning?Being highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and having previous administration experience is essential to the role.
