A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Haslemere is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join its successful Science department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
The successful candidate will
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced department.
We are looking for someone who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has a degree in a Science-related subject.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Is passionate about student progress and achievement.
- Can create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- ECTs and experienced teachers are equally encouraged to apply.
