Complex Needs Assistant

Hazel Tree Education are supporting an Outstanding SEN High School and College in Wigan in their search for a Teaching Assistant.

The school caters for learners with complex needs, involving a high level of sensory requirements. Candidates Must be comfortable with assisting learners with an element of Personal care.

Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities

Provide tailored assistance to pupils, including those with SEN

Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment in collaboration with school staff

Skills

Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or SEN setting

Strong communication and teamwork skills to build effective relationships

Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse learners
