The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to support the smooth, efficient running of our housekeeping department.

In this hands-on management role, you’ll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest accommodation and public areas, while motivating and developing your team to deliver exceptional service every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring standards are consistently exceeded
  • Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, driving a culture of excellence and attention to detail
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to maintain impeccable standards
  • Ensure effective laundry operations and guest laundry services
  • Actively support and coach team members, identifying training needs and delivering on-the-job training
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and team performance management
  • Deputise for the Head of Housekeeping when required
  • Ensure maintenance issues are identified and reported promptly
  • Manage stock levels and support cost control within department budgets
  • Deliver exceptional guest service at every touchpoint

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role (hospitality preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • A proactive and hands-on approach
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH procedures
  • Experience of rota planning and/or workforce systems (desirable)
