EYFS and KS1 HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Part Time

We wish to appoint an outstanding part time EYFS and KS1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our small, friendly team for two days a week.

Start date – 1st September 2026

Salary – PS5.3 (approx. £28,113 FTE). Pro-rata for Part-time, Term-time only approx. £8,331

Number of hours – 12.4 hours per week. Term-time only (39 weeks) to include up to 5 INSET Days

Contract – Fixed Term for 1 year. May be extended.

The school is well regarded in the local community and we enjoy good relationships with our parents. Our grounds are beautiful with great resources and access to the woods behind the school. Learning outside the classroom is an important part of the school and we run weekly Forest School sessions for our pupils. We are proud of the high standards achieved by our pupils and are committed to all children achieving their full potential.

We would like to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS and KS1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant from September 2026. The position is for two days a week. The successful candidate will be committed to learning outside the classroom, planning learning opportunities, in conjunction with the class teacher, to meet the needs of all pupils.
