Trust Doctor (eqv to ST5) in Congenital Cardiology

He/she will participate in a daytime rota system (1:3) to reply to queries from patients, CNS team or from referring general practitioners or physicians. The postholder will be expected to attend a daily handover meeting on ward 6D at 0800 and undertake a daily ward round for inpatients and contribute to 2 consultant ward rounds per week. Other duties include undertaking a DCC list for CHD patients and assisting in OPD with a commitment of 2-3 OPD per week. Training will be offered in the practical skills required for the diagnosis and management of medical and surgical problems in adult patients with congenital heart disease including TTE and TOE
