As an Accountant, your roles and responsibilities will include…

• Managing a portfolio of your own clients

• Preparing client records and trial balances

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns under MTD & helping clients get MTD ready

• Preparing annual accounts from trial balance

• Preparing and submitting Corporation & self-assessment tax returns

• Preparing management accounts where clients need it

• Liaising with HMRC and companies house

We’re looking for an Accountant with the following skills and experience…

• Qualified accountant ACCA, ACA, CA or CIMA

• Around 3 years post qualification experience in a practice environment

• Confident across full accounts preparation and year end processes

• Strong, accurate and detail focused

• Comfortable in a client facing role with excellent customer service

• Driven and great at managing your own workload and deadlines

• Hands on experience with Xero, Sage and TaxCalc (or similar)

• Payroll knowledge preferable including PAYE process

In return, the successful Accountant will receive a salary up to £63,000 plus the following benefits…
