I’m an active, young-at-heart 70-year-old wheelchair user who has recently moved to Westbury, Wiltshire, and I’m looking for friendly, adaptable Personal Assistants to support me with everyday life while helping me maintain my independence.

I enjoy volunteering, community activities, helping others and getting out into the countryside. I have an MBE for my volunteering work and love setting up groups and getting involved in projects that make a difference.

The role can include helping with shopping, light housework, cooking, driving and supporting me to get out and about. I live with chronic pain and other health conditions, so I need someone who is patient, flexible and able to adapt to my needs. I also have a lovely cat, Ella, and my adult son lives with me.

I’m an experienced PA employer and welcome both employed and self-employed PAs. The rates are £14.20 per hour employed or £18.77 per hour self-employed, funded through Direct Payments from Social Services.

If you’re reliable, caring, practical and enjoy helping someone live an active and independent life, I’d love to hear from you.
