SEN Teacher - Secondary School - Stratford - September Start - Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive secondary school based in Stratford for a September start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is confident supporting students with additional needs and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons within a structured secondary school environment.

The school is looking for somebody who can build strong relationships with students, support learning across a range of abilities, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom setting.

The Role

  • Teaching and supporting secondary-aged students with SEN
  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning difficulties
  • Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies
  • Working closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals
  • Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Contributing to EHCP targets and progress monitoring where required

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching or supporting students with SEN
  • Be confident working within a secondary school setting
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
