As a Lettings Officer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering an efficient and customer-focused lettings service. You’ll play a

role in managing the end-to-end lettings and voids process, ensuring homes are allocated quickly, accurately, and in line with key

performance indicators (KPIs). Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll be responsible for meeting targets around void

turnaround times and allocation performance, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You’ll work closely with

applicants and residents, providing a professional, supportive and welcoming experience throughout the lettings journey. The role

also involves strong collaboration with internal housing teams and building effective working relationships with external

partners, including local authorities and nomination agencies, to ensure successful and timely allocations. This is a fantastic

What You’ll Do

* Deliver Excellent Customer Service - Act as a key point of contact for applicants and residents, providing clear advice,

guidance and support throughout the lettings journey.

* Manage Lettings & Voids - Take responsibility for progressing void properties, ensuring homes are advertised, allocated and let

quickly while complying with policy and procedures.

* Maintain Accuracy in a Fast-Paced Environment - Handle large volumes of work with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring

all data, records and documentation are accurate and compliant.

* Use Systems Effectively - Confidently use Microsoft Office and housing management systems to update records, manage workflows

and support reporting.

* Work Collaboratively - Work closely with internal housing teams and external partners, while being an integral part of a small,

friendly team where collaboration, communication and supporting one another are essential to delivering a successful lettings

service.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

* High attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while also being a proactive and supportive team player

* Customer-focused mindset with a professional and positive attitude

* Strong organisational and time management skills

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to quickly learn new processes and systems

* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable

* Experience working within social housing

* Previous lettings or allocations experience in social housing

* Knowledge of housing legislation, allocations policies, or choice-based lettings systems
