About the role

As Sadia’s personal assistant, you’ll provide practical support at home, helping her maintain her independence continue enjoying the things that matter most to her.

Support will include

• Household tasks such as light cleaning, tidying and laundry

• Supporting Sadia with caring for her cat

• Supporting outings and attending appointments

• Assisting with practical tasks around the house

• Providing encouragement, companionship and a friendly face throughout the week.

Sadia has recently moved house; some support with settling into her new home and organising household items may also be required.

About you

Sadia is looking for someone who

• Is friendly, chatty and easy to get along with

• Has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour

• Is reliable, dependable and honest

• Can use their initiative when needed

• Enjoys building a good, genuine relationship

• Is happy to work alongside Sadia while supporting her independence

An understanding of stroke and neurological conditions would be beneficial, but this isn’t essential. A willingness to learn and a positive approach are what’s important.

Hours, location and rate of pay

This position is based in the Robroyston area, with some time spent in the local area for outings and appointments. The rate of pay is £14.45 per hour.

Working pattern

Monday

10:30am-2:30pm (4 hours)

Wednesday

Approx. 1:00pm start (2.5 hours)

Friday

10:30am-2:30pm (4 hours)

Total:10.5 hours per week.

A full UK Driving License and confidence to drive a manual vehicle is essential. A vehicle will be provided while on shift.
