The Oliver McGowan Training administrator will work alongside the Oliver McGowan Programme and the Head of Learning and Organisational Development in providing an effective and pro-active training service. You will work closely with the local ICB and other members of the provider collaborative and provide basic office administration to ensure the effective running of training.

Main Responsibilities

To work with the Oliver McGowan Programme Lead to maintain records, collect data and produce reports to a required organisational format.

To update and maintain training and development records, including the eLearning and HR systems and Mandatory Training Report. This will include producing and monitoring a plan of how refresher training will be undertaken.

To work with the Oliver McGowan Programme Lead to research and implement the most cost-effective ways of delivering Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training (OMMT) to meet required standards for new starters and for refresher training

To organise or assist with the organisation of training events, planning events, liaising with trainers and experts with lived experience (EWLE) co-trainers, coordinating attendance, producing registers, updating, and maintaining accurate records, producing and sending out Certificates of Attendance.

Creating training session events through Eventbrite and distributing links to the relevant point of contact

Update National trainer database with NHS futures.

To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all standards required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and/or the Department for Health and Social Care.

To report any issues of concern or reportable incidents immediately to the Director of Care and ensure that the incident reporting procedure is implemented, in particular regarding safeguarding and CQC reportable procedures.

To work alongside the Head of Learning and Organisational Development to champion the continual improvement of Learning & Development within the organisation, monitoring trends in the Care Sector and legislative developments as they occur

To support the Head of Learning and Organisational Development in producing monthly training communication to all employees.
