The Role

This is the perfect role for a nurse who enjoys being hands-on clinically, values working within a genuinely supportive team and wants the freedom to continue developing their skills and interests.

You’ll play an active role across all aspects of nursing, from anaesthetic monitoring and inpatient care to surgical support and nurse consultations. The team actively encourages nurses to work to the top of their qualification, and your ideas and input into daily practice life will be genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care across all areas of the practice

Monitor anaesthesia from preparation through to recovery

Support surgical and diagnostic procedures

Provide inpatient care and patient monitoring

Run nurse consults and preventative healthcare clinics

Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional communication

Maintain accurate patient and clinical records

Support high clinical and hygiene standards throughout the practice

Working Pattern

Full-time position

hours between 8am - 7pm

Saturday mornings on a rota basis with time off in lieu

No out-of-hours or on-call requirements

Separate cat, dog and isolation wards

The practice also sees a varied caseload including exotics, with support available for nurses wishing to pursue further qualifications in areas such as exotics or anaesthesia.

You’ll be joining a friendly and close-knit team of five vets alongside an experienced and growing nursing team, all within a supportive culture that genuinely prioritises teamwork and development.

Salary & Benefits

Salary starting from £29,000 depending on experience

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and Birthday Leave
