* Full Time and Part Time options available

* Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Salary

£25,000 per annum

Responsibilities

* Supporting autistic adults on a 1:1 and small group basis

* Planning and delivering engaging learning activities and life skills sessions

* Supporting communication, independence and social development

* Providing behaviourally based support to reduce barriers to learning

* Supporting learners with personal and intimate care where required

* Assisting learners to access social, leisure and employment opportunities within the community

* Encouraging learner choice, confidence and decision-making

* Monitoring and recording learner progress and adapting support strategies where needed

* Administering medication once trained and following company procedures

* Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals to achieve positive outcomes

* Maintaining a calm, safe and positive learning environment

Requirements

* Experience supporting adults or young people with disabilities (professional, personal or voluntary)

* Comfortable supporting individuals with challenging behaviour

* Comfortable providing personal/intimate care where required

* Calm and resilient approach under pressure

* Positive, patient and caring attitude

* Passion for supporting autistic individuals to develop life skills and independence

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

* Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality

* GCSE English & Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent desirable

* Commitment to ongoing professional development

* Eligibility to work in the UK
