Project Manger (MEICA)

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, engineering-led environment? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of high-value projects, working at the heart of delivery to ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction remain at the forefront.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution and strong stakeholder engagement. This role requires strong commercial awareness, as you will maintain clear oversight of project performance, including costs, profitability, and subcontractor management. You will lead project teams, manage risks, ensure compliance with industry standards such as WIMES and BS 7671, and drive continuous improvement across project delivery. From planning and scheduling through to commissioning and handover, you will play a key role in ensuring successful outcomes and exceptional client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in a MEICA project management role within a delivery-focused environment
  • Past experience working on-site, particularly within water and wastewater infrastructure (pumping stations and wastewater treatment works desirable)
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g. pumps, MCCs, pipework, instrumentation)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and deliver projects to time and budget
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good understanding of project planning tools (e.g. MS Project) and cost control
  • Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards on-site

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
  • HNC or HND (Essential)
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP or equivalent) – desirable
  • IOSH or Construction Safety qualification
  • ECS Black Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
