Mechanical Fitters Mate / Labourer

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fitter’s Mate / Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis.

START - 24th May 2026 till 11th June / 12th June 2026 (Night shift)

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, practical skills in construction and maintenance, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive organisation committed to safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Assist qualified mechanical fitters with installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
• Maintain a clean, organised work area ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Experience

• Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or mechanical fitting roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Practical skills with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and plumbing systems are beneficial
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components such as pumps, valves, or pipework is desirable
