Interim Role Description Project Manager (Band 8a) Purpose of the role To lead and deliver key projects within Croydon Health Services NHS Trusts transformation agenda, with a focus on digital enablement, costimprovementand service redesign, ensuring alignment to organisational priorities. A key aspect of the role is working closely with senior stakeholders, using clear, effective communication and tailored messaging to drive understanding,engagementand delivery. Key responsibilities Lead endtoend delivery ofallocatedprojects Develop andmaintainproject plans,milestonesand deliverables Liaise with senior stakeholders across clinical,operationaland corporate functions Communicate complex and potentially sensitive information clearly, adapting approach to suit different audiences Distil detailed project information into concise updates and key messages for governance and decision-making forums Facilitate meetings and discussions, including where views differ Manage risks,issuesand dependencies Support delivery of CIP schemes and transformation initiatives Person profile Strong communicator with the ability to adapt style across written, verbal and presentation formats Experienced in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders Able to translate complexity into clear, actionable messages Confident managing challenging conversations in a constructive and respectful way Delivery-focused self-starter who can quickly understand context and priorities
