We are seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead, manage and support the delivery of sustainability in line with contractual requirements, organisational strategy and client ambitions.​

The role ensures environmental and social sustainability commitments are effectively planned, delivered and reported across the contract.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced sustainability professional with strong ISO 14001 expertise who can lead sustainability delivery plans, work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders, and drive performance against KPIs while embedding sustainability into day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage and support delivery of sustainability in line with contractual requirements, strategy and client ambitions

Identify and support synergies between client sustainability objectives and Enterprise strategy

Manage and maintain the client’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, including audits and compliance

Lead and report on Environmental & Social Sustainability Delivery Plans to ensure KPIs and milestones are achieved

Deliver contractual requirements relating to legislation, carbon reporting, social data and other sustainability elements

Track, analyse and report sustainability performance and insights

Engage with contract teams, clients and Enterprise sustainability stakeholders

Share best practice to support continuous improvement and reduce silo working

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience delivering sustainability within FM or similar operational environments

Proven experience managing ISO 14001 environmental management systems

Background in carbon reporting, environmental data and sustainability programmes

Strong understanding of environmental legislation and regulatory compliance

Demonstrable experience working with clients and multiple stakeholder groups

Strong data analysis, performance monitoring and reporting capability

Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and performance metrics

Awareness of Social Value, TOMs and the Social Value Model

Holds a full UK driving licence
