About this role

Reception

to be the first point of contact representing the unit and St Georges ensuring that you adhere to the Trusts values. Answering phones in a timely polite manner. Welcoming and greeting new patients and family and new staff members.Ensuring new staff members have been given an orientation book.

Communication

Liaising with the MDT, ensuring patient confidentiality and ensuring messages are handed over.

Administration

ensuring that all patients details are recorded correctly and stored in a confidential manner. Ensuring stocks are at an optimum and ensuring when low an order is put in place.

Support

Supporting Matron and Ward Manager to ensure the smooth running of the unit. Liaising with the MDT . Ensuring all reported health and safety issues are escalated and addressed.
