As our ICT BI Assistant, you’ll work closely with our ICT DBA & BI Administrator to maintain, develop and optimise the systems and

data flows that power our business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with SQL experience who wants to grow into a well

rounded BI Engineer or Junior DBA.

What you'll be doing

* Creating and amending SQL views, stored procedures and ad-hoc queries

* Logging report requests and support details in the helpdesk management software and updating progress to resolution

* Collaborating with teams across the business: understanding their data needs and helping turn them into practical solutions

Implementing strong data governance

version control, indexing, reviewing data for relevance and quality

*

Developing reports and data models

using the Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, Power BI, Excel)

*

Documenting processes and supporting users

creating clear technical documentation and assisting colleagues with BI tools

*

Driving continuous improvement

spotting opportunities to automate, optimise and enhance how we work with data.

About You

You will have experience of working in a similar role with the following skills and experience

* Weekly hybrid working

* Experience writing SQL — queries, views, stored procedures

* Understanding of BI tools and willingness to learn new skills, programming languages and technologies

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel

* Experience in the housing sector
