Penbridge School is seeking to appoint a newly qualified Early Career Teacher (ECT)to join our team on a fixed term basis as maternity cover. We are looking for someone who has the drive, skills and passion to work at our primary academy based in Portsmouth.

We are looking for a
Teacher who will
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Demonstrate a deep passion for primary education
- Exhibit outstanding classroom practice, fostering high standards of achievement and behaviour.
- Design and deliver a creative, engaging, and stimulating curriculum.
- Be committed to continuous improvement, both for pupils and through personal CPD opportunities.
- Bring a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to our school community.
- Actively contribute to the positive ethos and development of Penbridge School
What the school offers its staff
Formally known as Penhale Infant School and Newbridge Junior School, we officially joined together in September 2022 to form Penbridge Infants and Junior School. The infants site comprises of a nursery with 24 places for funded 2-4 year olds and a 2-form entry infant school with 180 children on the roll including 24 in our Rainbow Fish Inclusion Unit. The juniors site comprises of a 4-form entry school with 440 children on the roll.
