Duties of a

Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

• Conduct diagnostic testing, fault finding, and vehicle repairs efficiently and to high standards
• Identify vehicle faults accurately and troubleshoot effectively to deliver quality repairs
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and dealership standards
• Communicate clearly with team members and customers about diagnostics and repair solutions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic tools, and techniques
• Accurately document repairs, findings, and assessments for precise records

Requirements of a

Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

• Qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician with main dealer manufacturer qualifications or near qualification
• Strong background in vehicle diagnostics, preferably within VWAG brands
• Proven ability to deliver precise diagnostics and repairs
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and dedicated to customer satisfaction
• Ambitious, motivated, and focused on maximising earnings through bonus schemes
• Experience working within a dealership environment is highly desirable
