Duties of a
Senior Vehicle Technician
- Perform diagnostics and carry out complex Level 2/3 repairs on Jaguar Land Rover and other fleet vehicles
- Carry out Level 2 repairs such as brake pad and disc replacements, suspension adjustments, battery replacements, and air conditioning repairs
- Conduct Level 3 repairs including engine diagnostics and repairs, transmission repairs, turbo replacements, electrical fault diagnosis, and airbag system troubleshooting
- Conduct thorough vehicle health checks and provide expert assessments for additional repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and resolve technical faults
- Undertake DPF cleaning and maintenance services, vital for high-performance vehicles
- Work closely with the service team to ensure timely, high-quality vehicle servicing
Requirements of a
Senior Vehicle Technician
- Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs, with Level 2/3 qualifications
- Experience with Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles is highly desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team as a Senior Vehicle Technician
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning new systems and technologies
