Unskilled Operative

We are working closely alongside with Sutton Housing Partnership to assist with the appointment of an Unskilled Operative, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay

£14.68 - £19.19 per hour

Summary

We are seeking 2 reliable and hardworking Unskilled Operatives to support groundworkers, fencers, carpenters, and glaziers across social housing projects. The role involves assisting with labouring duties, working in occupied properties, and supporting teams in delivering maintenance and repair works while providing a professional service to tenants.

Responsibilities

Support groundworkers, fencers, carpenters, and glaziers on site

Carry out general labouring and site support duties

Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment

Maintain safe and tidy working areas

Work within occupied social housing properties and communal areas

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working within social housing environments

Ability to work in physically demanding roles and outdoors in all weather conditions

Good communication skills and ability to deal with challenging tenants professionally

Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn

Ability to work well as part of a team

Understanding of Health & Safety on site
