Finance Manager

AD08 – Finance Manager This role will be based in-house at our Chichester office, for the full 5 days a week. About KT Healthcare KT Healthcare is an established and growing independent healthcare provider. We deliver specialist services across multiple revenue streams including Private Brain Injury services, Private Assessments, NHS Autism Right to Choose, and ADHD services launching in Summer 2026, alongside additional tenders in progress. The Opportunity This is a key commercial and operational role within KT Healthcare, responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations and supporting the organisation's continued growth and strategic development. As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of core financial processes including management accounting, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and cash flow management. You will play an important role in ensuring financial controls are robust, processes are efficient, and financial information supports effective business decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to process improvements, support strategic planning and provide financial insight that helps drive the organisation forward. This position would suit a motivated and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys balancing operational responsibilities with strategic thinking and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Finance Operations & Reporting Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs. Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and related accounting entries. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records. Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register. Lead the analysis of monthly financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities. Support accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation. Produce weekly cash flow forecasts and support working capital management. Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decisions. Monitor financial performance against budgets and investigate variances. Governance, Controls & Compliance Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices and controls. Continually identify financial and operational risks and implement practical solutions. Act as the first point of contact for external auditors. Ensure compliance with statutory and HMRC requirements. Payroll & Financial Administration Take responsibility for payroll activities in conjunction with HR and relevant HMRC processes. Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices. Support effective management of day-to-day financial operations. Leadership & Service Development Manage and support junior members of the finance team. Build strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency. Support ad-hoc finance projects and wider business initiatives as required. About You We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in a Finance Manager role, with strong exposure to management accounting and financial reporting. Commercially aware and able to understand the wider business impact of financial decisions. Analytical and confident interpreting financial data and identifying trends. Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively. Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and problem-solving skills. A confident communicator, capable of building relationships across all levels of the business. Able to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively as part of a wider team. Proactive and motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications and Experience Essential

Qualified or part-qualified ACCA or CIMA. Proven experience working in a Finance Manager position. Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting. Experience with budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations.

Desirable
