The Medicines Management Team are looking for a newly qualified, or soon to be qualified Pharmacy Technician to join the team on a progressive Band 4-5 contract where we will support you with your development with a robust progression framework - giving you the foundation towards a successful Pharmacy Technician career. We would also welcome applications from those already operating at a Band 5 level who are ready to seamlessly slot into the team at a Senior Pharmacy Technician level.
Our Medicines Management Team work closely with our clinical pharmacist colleagues across a variety of disciplines, ensuring that patients are receiving the correct medications during their hospital stay and at discharge. You will have the chance to work directly with patients and make a real impact on their hospital journey.

Some of the main responsibilities include
Completing Medicines Reconciliation to ensure patients are receiving the right medications in hospital
Counselling patients on newly started medicines
Supporting with discharge processes to enable strong patient flow
Our team are self-motivated and need to be able to work both independently, but also have excellent communication in order to maintain a strong team dynamic despite each person having their own individual wards.
