The Best Connection - Aviation is currently recruiting General Assistant to join a busy and growing Catering Operations team in Crawley area for Gatwick Airport. A role supported within logistics distribution and supply chain industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK's busiest airports, supporting airline catering operations across multiple departments including Production, Dishwash, and Pick & Pack.

Working Hours

* 06:00 - 14:30

* 14:30 - 23:00

Flexibility across both shift patterns is required.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Assistant, you will support the preparation and distribution of airline catering products, ensuring operational standards and airline requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting daily catering production activities

* Packing and preparing airline food carts and trolleys

* Operating industrial dishwash equipment in line with procedures

* Carrying out hygiene and quality checks

* Assisting with stock rotation and waste procedures

* Preparing products for airport distribution

* Completing security and compliance checks

* Maintaining cleanliness and operational standards across departments

This role provides the opportunity to work across several departments and gain valuable experience within airport catering and logistics operations.

Candidate Requirements

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Good communication and teamwork skills

* Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

* Basic English reading and writing skills essential

* Previous experience within catering, warehouse, food production, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not essential
