Customer Care Agent - London Gatwick Airport

The Best Connection - Aviation is currently recruiting Customer Care Agent to support operations at London Gatwick Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills who are looking to develop a career within the logistics distribution and supply chain industry. You will be working in a fast-paced airport environment, providing professional assistance and support to passengers throughout their journey.

As a Customer Care Agent, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, smooth, and positive airport experience for passengers requiring additional support.

NOTE : This is a temporary seasonal position.

Pay & Benefits

* £13.45 - £14.71 per hour

* Standard rate - £13.45 per hour.

* Overtime available - paid at 1.5 once completed 40 hours.

* Bank Holidays - Double rate.

* Weekly pay every Friday

* Full training provided

* Opportunity to gain valuable airport experience

Working Hours

* Part-time - 6-hour shifts

* 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

Shift times include

* 04:00 - 10:00

* 12:00 - 18:00

* 18:00 - 00:00

* 22:00 - 04:00

Please note flexibility across all shift patterns is required.

Your Duties Will Include

* Providing high standards of customer care and passenger assistance

* Supporting passengers with reduced mobility throughout the airport

* Safely operating wheelchairs and electric mobility buggies

* Assisting passengers with baggage where required

* Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting faults

* Maintaining cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment

* Communicating effectively with airport control teams and colleagues

* Completing operational documentation accurately and efficiently

* Supporting wider airport operations when required

Candidate Requirements

* Professional and customer-focused approach

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and within a team

* Calm and organised under pressure

* Strong time-management skills

* Full UK driving licence required, but not mandatory.

* Previous airport, passenger service, or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential
