About this role
The posts offered will be primarily based at Stoke Mandeville and Amersham Hospitals (one post at each site), where you will be supported by the Senior Photographers and Clinical Service Lead. Both posts will also include visits to other sites across the Trust as required.
You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in medical photography although consideration may be given to newly qualified candidates as appropriate training can be provided.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work innovatively and without supervision.
You will show an enthusiasm for clinical imaging and a willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
Ideally you will have the following requirements:-
- BSc in Medical Illustration or equivalent
- AHCS registration
- Full driving licence and own transport
- Excellent Photoshop and IT skills
- Previous experience of working within a Medical Photography department
- Good communication skills

To be responsible for providing high quality clinical photography for diagnosis, case records, education, research and publication across a wide range of specialities and disciplines.
To provide Telederm services across the Trust and engage with our AI supported diagnostic services.
Be responsible for providing a general photographic support service for patient information, research, publication, education and public relations.
To assist senior photographer team in provision of clinical video services
To deputise for the Senior Clinical Photographer in their absence.
To engage with service developments and be an active member of the team when future planning takes place.
To be confident with patient interactions and to be able to work with empathy and consideration at all times.
