We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Regional Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering expert financial support across our schools.Your opportunity
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Finance Manager. The role will be supporting schools in Didcot and Reading, so the candidate will need to be able to travel to both locations.As a Finance Manager, you will work as part of the finance team, led by the Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools, including:
managing the delivery of the monthly management reports
overseeing transactional processing within the academies
preparing and monitoring budgets
liaising with school-based colleagues as required
We can offer hybrid working, or you can choose to be fully based at Aureus School in Didcot. Regular visits to schools in the region will be necessary. We are looking for someone to work 36 hours a week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks). What we are looking for
AAT qualified and beyond or QBE with relevant experienceExperience of producing financial accounts using financial systems
Experience of working within the education or charity sector
Experience of working within a Finance Department
