VRS Lead Installer

About this role

We are recruiting for a VRS Lead Installer to join us here at Octavius.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

You'll be working on….Leading the safe and efficient installation of Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS) across a range of highways and infrastructure projects within our Regional Civil Engineering business.

Your responsibilities will include

-Supervising on-site VRS installation teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

-Coordinating daily site activities, including traffic management and site set-up

-Ensuring all works comply with National Highways Sector Schemes and relevant standards

-Carrying out site measurements, interpreting drawings, and ensuring accurate installation

-Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

-Liaising with Site Managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery of works

About you….

You are a hands-on, safety-focused team leader with strong experience in VRS installation. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and leading teams to achieve excellent standards on site.

You'll bring…

-Proven experience in VRS installation on highways or infrastructure projects

-Experience leading or supervising site teams

-Good understanding of health & safety requirements and industry standards (e.g. NHSS 2)

-Ability to read and interpret drawings and site instructions

-A valid CSCS card (essential)

-Full UK driving licence

-Flexibility to work nights and occasional weekends as required
