36.75 hours per week (Full-time & Part-time options available, minimum 3 days including Tuesdays & Fridays)

We are seeking ambitious, motivated educators looking to elevate their careers by joining a specialist educational facility as a Trainee SEN / CABAS Teacher (also known as an SEN Behaviour Analyst).

Instead of just managing a classroom, you will receive extensive, fully funded training to become a specialist in behaviourally-based teaching.

Working 1

1 and in small groups with autistic pupils, you will use specialised support plans to accelerate learning and make a direct, measurable impact on their lives.

Core Responsibilities

-

Move beyond general support to design, plan, and deliver individualised teaching sessions focused heavily on communication, social interaction, and vital life skills.

Provide behaviourally-based teaching and positive reinforcement to help autistic pupils achieve their full potential.

Participate in breaktime duties, playground socialisation, snack times, and off-site educational trips.

Support pupils with a high level of need, following individual behaviour guidelines and assisting with personal care (feeding, toileting) where necessary.

Contribute to curriculum maintenance, research, and your own continuous personal development.

Requirements to Take the Next Step

Experience

Proven professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children and disabilities (your TA background is highly valued here!).

Education

Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.

Resilience

Comfortable working with pupils experiencing high levels of need, including dysregulated behaviours, and a proven ability to stay calm in high-pressure environments.

Physical Fitness

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including twisting, stooping, and working at a lower height.

Mindset

A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
