Develop, maintain, and manage a safe, efficient, and cost-effective medicines supply service to patients. Deliver high-quality patient care to patients under the care of the Haemato-Oncology unit through effective medicines optimisation, including dispensing and patient/carer education. Support clinical audit, data collection, research, and service improvements. Complete medication storage audits including Controlled Drugs audits, reconcile stock, expiry checks and report discrepancies promptly. Assist the Lead Pharmacist Haemato-Oncology and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) and Lead Haemato-Oncology Pharmacy Technician in delivering service developments to meet local and national requirements. Undertake dispensing, final accuracy checking (as an ACPT), and issuing of medicines to ensure a safe service. Support the operational management of the dispensary and medication supply hubs as required, and in agreement with the Lead Pharmacist Haemato-Oncology and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) and Lead Haemato-Oncology Pharmacy Technician.
