We are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join an Assessment an Intervention Team.
Do not apply if you do not have a social work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent positions/s.
About the team
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our team in delivering high-quality, relationship-based support to children, families and support networks. The role involves managing complex cases, assessing need, safeguarding children, and working collaboratively with professionals to achieve positive outcomes within statutory guidelines. This team is in charge of the duty system, occurring every six weeks.
About you
The ideal candidate will be hard working, resilient and have the ability to work in high pressure environments. It will also be beneficial to have experience in completing s17 and s47 assessments, initial court work as well as LAC proceedings. It is also essential to have a degree within social work(degree/DipSW/CQSW) and minimum three years post qualified experience.
