The Opportunity
Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist SEN provision in the Westminster area.
The setting supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, and communication difficulties, within a structured and nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities

Provide 1
1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
* Support pupils with Autism, communication, and emotional regulation needs
* Implement structured routines and personalised support strategies
* Assist teachers in adapting lessons and learning materials
* Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
* Support EHCP targets and personalised interventions
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or care setting
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Ability to support pupils with additional needs including ASD and SEMH
* Understanding of safeguarding, SEN practice, and inclusive education
