Mitie are recruiting for a Handyperson to be based at HMP Isis in West Thamesmead to carry out building maintenance tasks and duties across the site.

The site is a young offenders cat C prison so security clearance is required to work on site.

-Perform small decorating and plumbing duties,

-Fixtures of doors, windows, maintenance and repair tasks,

-Keep structures, fixtures, and systems in good condition,

-Escort sub-contractors on site,

-Carry out any reasonable request to perform duties which are normal custom and practice in a Maintenance Building Services environment,

-Proactive and adaptable person,

-Any building maintenance / handyperson experience is highly desirable,

-Happy to work in a prison environment,

-Customer care and focus mindset,
