A highly regarded specialist provision in South-East London is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a long‑term role working four days per week, Monday to Thursday, with a strong focus on KS4 learners.

The Role
You will primarily teach KS4 pupils, with a small number of KS3 lessons depending on the timetable.
Teaching will include
- ASDAN KS4 accreditation
- Humanities pathways
- Preparing for Adulthood
- A small amount of RE
You will work across a range of classes and groups, delivering engaging, accessible lessons to pupils with diverse SEN profiles, including autism. The role requires a teacher who can build strong relationships, maintain clear structure, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Previous SEN teaching experience (not suitable for ECTs)
- Experience with autism and differentiated learning
- Fluent English (mother tongue or equivalent level)
- Confident teaching KS4 pathways and life‑skills‑based curricula
- Ability to work across multiple classes and small groups
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Contract & Pay
- Long‑term role starting September 2026
- 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday)
- Weekly pay through Peak Education Recruitment
