Role Overview
AGP Foods Ltd. is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in a dual role as a Warehouse Operative and Fresh Produce Packer. This position involves supporting warehouse operations, handling stock deliveries, and packing fresh produce for store distribution, while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and efficiency.
This is a physically demanding role suited to someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will report to on-site management.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload deliveries using manual handling techniques and forklift equipment
Move, organise, and store stock in designated warehouse areas
Process, scan, and manage incoming deliveries
Pick, prepare, and dispatch stock for store deliveries
Pack fresh produce accurately and efficiently to meet store requirements
Check goods for quality, accuracy, and condition against orders
Report and record discrepancies, damages, or missing items
Maintain accurate stock and delivery records
Assist with large deliveries and stock handling
Support shop floor teams and provide customer service when required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across warehouse and packing areas
Clean and maintain warehouse equipment
Move pallets using provided equipment
Work towards packing targets and productivity quotas
Follow all company policies and health & safety procedures
Requirements (Essential)
Ability to meet the physical demands of handling large volumes of stock
Valid Forklift Licence
Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Manual handling experience
Good attention to detail
Right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills & Experience
Previous experience in FMCG warehouse or fresh produce packing
Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate
Knowledge of South East & East Asian food products
Additional Information
A trial shift may be required as part of the recruitment process
Pay is made monthly
Employment is subject to satisfactory references
Weekend availability may be required
