Job title – Fresh & Produce Packer

Rate – £12.71 per hour

Work Pattern – Range 20 - 40 hours per week (Variable hour contract)

Location – London E16

This is an opportunity to join AGP Foods Ltd.. As part of the Fresh Produce team you will support the business by packing fresh produce for & maintain all health & safety standards/polices.

You will need to be self-motivated & have a positive, successful attitude. Experience working as a Fresh Produce Packer is desirable

You will report to the Fresh Produce Supervisor.

Duties/responsibilities

· Work well within the team, communicating effectively with all necessary team

Members

· Be prepared to work as part of a team as well as on your own at times

· Receive instructions courteously, showing respect to your superiors and fellow colleagues

· Be proactive at quiet times whilst anticipating & meeting the needs of the busy periods

· Help package fresh produce for all stores

· General cleaning duties throughout the work loacation, maintaining Health & Safety standards

· Provide excellent customer service when on the shopfloor

· Support the shop floor teams when required

· Assist with large stock deliveries

· Check supplied goods arrive in the right condition and that they match the order placed & that if anything arrives that is not in good condition or was not ordered is sent back and a record has been made of the discrepancy

· Pay attention to detail at all times

· Ability to achieve packing targets & quota’s

· Comply with the Employee Handbook and company policies, including health & safety

Experience/skills

· Comfortable communicating with team members & suppliers.

· Should have a positive manner providing excellent customer service

· Able to work as part of a team.

· Manual handling

· Previous Packing/Factory experience (Desirable)

· Strong Health & Safety awareness

· Valid Food Hygiene level 2 certificate (Desirable)

· Experience with Asian food (Desirable)

You must have eligibility to work in the UK.

Pay is made monthly.
