About the Role

GetPos UK is looking for a reliable and methodical Warehouse & Stock Administrator to join our Hemel Hempstead operation.

This is a permanent part-time position working 15 hours across three fixed days – Monday to Wednesday, 9:30am–2:30pm.

The role combines computer-based stock and logistics administration with practical warehouse activities. You will help ensure incoming goods are received and recorded accurately, customer orders are prepared and dispatched correctly, stock records remain up to date, and routine warehouse activities are completed efficiently.

About GetPos UK

GetPos UK is a specialist supplier of point-of-sale (POS) hardware and technology, providing equipment to businesses and partners across the UK.

Our Hemel Hempstead premises combine our office and warehouse operations, where products are received from UK and international suppliers, held in stock and dispatched to customers throughout the country.

We operate as a small, established team across sales, administration, accounts and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check and book incoming goods into our ERP/inventory management system.
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Arrange courier collections and maintain accurate shipment and tracking information.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries and flag delays, discrepancies or other exceptions as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and carry out routine stock checks.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and stock area.
  • Complete routine administration and communication associated with warehouse, stock and logistics activities.

The role involves regular use of our ERP/inventory management system alongside email, courier platforms and basic spreadsheets. Full training will be provided on our systems and processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is

  • Reliable, accurate and methodical.
  • Confident using computers and able to learn new systems.
  • Comfortable combining administrative responsibilities with practical warehouse work.
  • Able to organise and manage their routine day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working independently for periods of the working day.
  • A clear and professional communicator.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn.

Previous experience in warehouse administration, stock control, logistics, order processing or a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience using ERP, stock control or inventory management systems would also be beneficial but is not essential.

Physical Requirements

The role involves regular handling, packing and movement of POS hardware and associated products.

Individual items and packages typically weigh approximately 2–5kg, with occasional handling of packages weighing up to approximately 20kg.

Working Environment

This is an on-site position based at our Hemel Hempstead premises.

During parts of the Monday-to-Wednesday working pattern, you may be the primary person working from the premises. You will remain part of and supported by the wider GetPos UK team, with colleagues available across sales, administration, accounts and management and other team members working from the premises at various times.
