The Role

We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation based in Deeside.

The role will involve operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks, supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials, finished goods and stock across the site.

You will work as part of the warehouse and production team, helping to ensure materials are available when required and goods are stored and dispatched accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles.

• Move raw materials, finished goods and packaging around the site.

• Supply production areas with materials as required.

• Put away stock accurately in designated warehouse locations.

• Pick and prepare goods for production or dispatch.

• Complete daily FLT safety checks and report any faults or damage.

• Ensure all stock movements are completed accurately.

• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.

• Follow site procedures for material handling, storage and movement.

• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

• Maintain clean and organised warehouse and working areas.

• Work closely with production, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure materials are available when needed.

• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or operational issues to the relevant supervisor.

About You

You will ideally have

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence.

• A valid Reach FLT licence.

• Previous experience operating forklifts within a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment.

• Experience working in a fast-paced operation.

• Good awareness of health and safety.

• The ability to work accurately and follow procedures.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility to work a Monday to Friday shift pattern.

Previous experience supplying manufacturing or production lines would be advantageous.
