We are looking for a reliable, kind, and proactive Personal Assistant to support our elderly customer with daily routines, shopping, and companionship throughout the week.

Core Duties

  • Medication prompting & carer reminders
  • Breakfast checking and support
  • Local shop visits
  • Film selection support

What a day to day week will look like

Monday (2.5 hrs): Weekly supermarket shop

Tuesday (2 hrs)

Cleaning and laundry (optional separate provision)

Wednesday & Thursday (1 hr)

Standard morning routine

Friday (3 hrs)

Golf or outing

Saturday & Sunday (1 hr)

Standard morning routine

Evening Support (1 hour per day additional to the above)

  • Help with dinner
  • Medication prompting
  • Nightwear prompt
  • Light cleaning and washing up
  • Film selection and bedtime reminders

About You

  • Reliable, patient, and friendly
  • Supports independence
  • Happy with light household tasks
  • Knowledge of cricket, golf or old films are desirable but not crucial to the role
  • The customer has a great sense of humour, and we’re looking for someone with this also
  • Comfortable with outings

  • The customer will enjoy getting out of the house every so often, whether it's to a local café, or a coffee/breakfast at a local pub. The customer loves talking to all sorts of people, and being isolated in his home for too long may have an affect on his mental health, so occasional outings would be beneficial.
