Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive nursery team in Wantage, providing high-quality childcare and education to children in a nurturing environment. As a caring and energetic individual, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development, creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters growth and exploration. Key Responsibilities
As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to children, working closely with the nursery team to plan and deliver activities, observe and record children's progress, and maintain a safe and healthy environment. Your key responsibilities will include creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous nursery experience, a Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education, and a passion for working with children. You will also need to be energetic, committed, and able to work effectively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also essential.
