During school holidays, various shifts (9:00–15:00 / 8:00–18:00)
Pay
£14.50–£15 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Afterschool & Holiday Club Assistant to join a local school in Wallingford. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children at the end of the school day or during holiday programs. This is a wonderful opportunity to work as part of a supportive team and make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in delivering fun, age-appropriate activities for children
Ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children in your care
Prepare and serve healthy snacks
Maintain accurate attendance records
Support smooth handovers and communicate effectively with parents at pick-up
Work closely with school staff to uphold safeguarding and care standards
About You
Passionate about supporting children in a safe and stimulating environment
Able to manage groups calmly, positively, and confidently
Skilled at engaging children of different ages and abilities
Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
