Graduate Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon
A welcoming and inclusive school in Hillingdon is seeking a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 through to July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to build hands-on experience working with children while developing the skills and confidence needed for a future career in education.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in the classroom, working closely with teachers to provide 1:1 and small group support. You’ll help children who need additional guidance, including pupils with special educational needs and those requiring extra encouragement to reach their full potential.
The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant will have prior experience working with children or young people through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work, or voluntary roles. This role is particularly well suited to those considering teacher training, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or other careers working with children and young people.
