About the Role

SK IT Solutions Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through manual and automated testing processes.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications

Identify, document, track, and report software defects using bug tracking tools

Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing

Collaborate with developers to resolve software issues and improve application quality

Review business and technical requirements to ensure test coverage

Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and software development lifecycle activities

Ensure software meets quality standards, security requirements, and client expectations

Support deployment validation and post-release testing activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Experience in software testing and quality assurance processes

Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies

Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, TestNG, or similar tools

Understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies

Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Preferred Skills

Experience working in Agile environments

Knowledge of performance and security testing

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems

ISTQB certification is an advantage
